The Coley Marimba Artist Practicum is held in tandem with Composer LabFest 4. Performers and composers will be collaborating for world premieres guided by co-directors Matthew Coley & Jenni Brandon, and HM Artists.
$850 (includes non-refundable $75 registration fee) to attend either CLF4 or CAP
$1300 (includes non-refundable $75 registration fee) to attend both CLF4 & CAP in a joint track of performer and composer
– Self-paced payment plan: Registration fee is due between Jan 19 & May 15 | Half of tuition is due: June 1 | Final tuition payment is due: July 1
– Housing Policy - Housing is the responsibility of the participant. However, HM will make suggestions to find options for housing including AirBnB, homestays, hotels, etc.

*We are forming HME2 – an apprentice artist group for the 2026-2027 season!
– 3-5 performers will be chosen to be HME2 Artists.
– (We are only accepting 3-5 applicants. Registration fee refunded to those not chosen.)
– HME2 will perform one or more concerts on the season; tour dates TBD.
– Season repertoire will be planned and rehearsed during CAP.
– Additionally, following CAP, 1 performer may be chosen as the official HMQ apprentice for the season; tour dates TBA.
