MARIMBA COMPETITION (Hosted by Heartland Marimba)

1. Two age categories: High School and College
2. Come prepared to perform a solo selection, 6 minutes or less in length.
3. Please bring a copy of the music for the judges. (Comments will be provided)
4. Winners will receive prizes and a chance to perform on the 5:00pm final concert.
5. Once you pay the registration fee HERE you are registered.
6. We will be in touch with the schedule (the competition will be held midday).

HIGH SCHOOL ENSEMBLE COACHING OPPORTUNITY

  • Please email HM to let us know your desire to participate and we'll get you on the list.
    • Email: celebrate@heartlandmarimba.com
  • If you know the rep you want coached at the time of reaching out, please also send that with the size of the ensemble(s).
  • Sessions are 15-20 mins, 1-2 pieces, no more than 10 mins of playing.
  • Times are in the morning hours before lunch.
  • We are asking for a $10 donation for each ensemble coached if the school is not a PAS member. This money will benefit the IA Chapter of PAS.
