Heartland Marimba, featuring Matthew Coley, Chandler Beaugrand, Sophia Lo, and Jose Uzcategui, is proud to announce the 2026 Heartland Marimba International Festival (HMIF), an international gathering of more than 50 marimba performers taking place November 1–13, 2026, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The festival will culminate with featured performances and events during the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Presented in collaboration with the Lancaster Marimba Ensemble and the Percussive Arts Society, HMIF will bring together marimbists from across the United States and around the world for an immersive week of rehearsals, masterclasses, lectures, educational presentations, and large-scale marimba orchestra performances.
