Ethan Strickland is percussionist, performer, and educator who performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed with artists such as Jason Treuting of Sō Percussion, the Arx Duo, and award winning pianist, Thomas Kotcheff. Ethan is an artist in the Heartland Marimba Ensemble. 

Ethan has worked with several high schools in Georgia, Kansas, and Missouri. He maintains a private studio and has coached ensemble members of the University of Kansas Percussion Group and Michigan State Percussion Ensemble. Ethan is passionate about community outreach, contributing to the diversification in the field of music, and the support of all people involved in the arts. 

Receiving his Bachelor of Music in percussion performance at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, Ethan was the 2019 Reinhardt University Concerto Competition winner, as well as a recipient of the Sal Gentile Jazz Scholarship. Serving as a graduate teaching assistant, Ethan earned his Masters in Music at the University of Kansas in percussion performance. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts degree as a Graduate Assistant at Michigan State University.
